Using RainFX and SnowFX in
Tutorial for Sony Vegas 4.0, 7.0, and Pro 8.0
IImport the Rain or Snow .mov to your Vegas timeline and insert it on track
1. Insert your still or video clip to be used as the background on Track
2. Change the Composite Mode on Track 1 to Screen. Do this by clicking on the lower case a located next to the track level slider. You should see your small lower case a turn into an x at this point.
To soften the effect, slide the Level slider down to about 75%. When using these overlays in Vegas, there is no need to activate the Make Compositing Child.
